Prince Thorne Stormborn

Costume Concept for original character. Since I’m imagining this as a more comedic adventure, I wanted his prince wardrobe to be intentionally on the nose. His family keeps the kingdom in a perpetual state of fear about a potential dragon attack, so they go all out with dragon symbolism everywhere. His clothes are decked out with dragon imagery—dragons on the crowns, dragons on the swords, dragons embroidery —everything’s covered in dragons. His prince attire is heavily inspired by medieval films of the 1940’s- and 50’s; prioritizing glamour, inspired by classical theatre and historical accuracy being an afterthought.
