Reimagining illustrations from my childhood. This is Ant-Girl đ. Ant-Girl was my whole personality for a while. I obsessively drew adventures with her. She was the leader of this trio even though she was wholly unqualified. Ant-Girl also came in contact with the same toxic waste as Sewer Rat (Youâll meet her in my next post đ) The main power she got was super strength and a super-powered sense of smell. Plunger Boy (Sewer Ratâs brother and part of the crime fighting trio with their father.) was very skilled at building gadgets and built her removable antenna that helped her hone her strong sense of smell. Ant-Girl was incredibly clumsy and always cracking bad puns (heavily inspired by Buffy.)
Itâs pretty obvious I grew up with El ChapulĂn Colorado, but yes, Ant-Man & Wasp were my absolute favorite superheroes as a kid. I know⊠not super creative with the name. Whatever, I was like 11. For this project, Iâve also made her costume more age appropriate (theyâre all in high school.) I donât think teens should be fighting crime in leotards showing a lot of skin, but I didnât know better then.
